Do you find the topic of learning to demonstrate leadership fascinating or illusive?  If your choice is the latter I want to help you solve the mystery.  Your ability to demonstrate leadership is the secret weapon you can use to draw in clients.  The concept of leadership can be described as a critical business skill every successful lawyer must demonstrate regardless of your area of specialty.  Why?  Because at the end of the day you need to account for your time and effort.  I believe “leadership” is the vehicle you can use to achieve your desired business results.

For example, if you desire to book some new business, you must first show the potential client why you are the best attorney that can help them.  Getting their attention can often be quite a feat.  Your competition has the same goal.  There is also the fact that most people are short on time.  Therefore your message must stand out from the crowd.  Your ability to establish the rapport that gets the potential client to want to listen to your pitch is a demonstration of your leadership skills.

Yes, that’s right.  Your ability to communicate in the language a potential client wants to hear shows your skill as a leader who understands the nuances of establishing relationships.  Once you are able to connect at a level the potential client finds engaging and informative, more often than not, they will desire to learn more about how you can help them be successful.  It is only then that you have the opportunity to show how your leadership capabilities are an asset.

Are you ready to break through and solve the mystery of demonstrating how your leadership skills is the answer your clients need?
